Celebrating a Milestone: Our Verified Leading Social Enterprise Recognition
We are beyond honoured and humbled to share that we have been recognised as part of the inaugural cohort of Verified Leading Social Enterprises by raiSE, the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise. This recognition marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we couldn’t have reached this moment without the unwavering support of our team, partners, beneficiaries, and the entire ecosystem that walks alongside us every day.
Who is raiSE?
raiSE plays a pivotal role in Singapore’s purpose-driven business landscape. Established in 2015, raiSE was created to raise awareness and support for social enterprises and to nurture a vibrant ecosystem where businesses can be both financially sustainable and socially impactful. It does this by offering:
- Access to resources, funding and networking opportunities
- A social impact framework that helps enterprises measure and communicate meaningful impact
- A supportive community of changemakers, corporates, and ecosystem partners committed to doing good through business
At its core, raiSE fosters an environment where social innovation isn’t just encouraged, it’s enabled. Through its membership and programmes, raiSE helps organisations turn purpose into practice, embedding impact into the very DNA of their business models.
raiSE’s 10th Anniversary Celebration
On 8 January 2026, raiSE marked its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of growing and strengthening Singapore’s social enterprise ecosystem. Under the theme “A Nation, Heart at Work”, the milestone brought together leaders and changemakers across sectors to reflect on how far the movement has come and the important role social enterprises play in nation-building.
This milestone was more than a celebration, but a moment of recognition. It honoured the work of social enterprises, the believers who continue to champion this space, and the shared conviction that businesses can and should be a force for good. We at Social Gifting are deeply grateful to be part of this ecosystem and this journey.

What It Means to Be a Verified Leading Social Enterprise
As part of the anniversary celebrations, raiSE recognised the first batch of 17 Verified Leading Social Enterprises, a new category of recognition that acknowledges organisations with:
- A strong and sustained commitment to social impact.
- Transparent reporting and verified impact measurement.
- Robust impact tracking frameworks that demonstrate credibility and integrity.
Being part of this inaugural cohort means our work has been independently assessed and verified. This enhances our credibility with stakeholders and positions us as a trusted partner in driving purposeful collaborations that lead to real, measurable outcomes.
