At Social Gifting, we support a diverse community of talented women and caregivers — including retirees, mothers, and those in caregiving roles. Each brings unique stories, skills, and dedication to their craft. We strive to empower them by offering meaningful opportunities to create, connect, and contribute.
Aunty Betty is a resilient cancer warrior, a retiree, and one of our pioneer crafters. She takes great pride in her sewing and crocheting, finding joy in the creative process and in the opportunity to continuously learn new skills. She is passionate about inspiring and nurturing differently-abled crafters to become craftpreneurs.
Aunty Betty has found a renewed sense of purpose, passion, and love for the community through her artistry and volunteer work—embracing a new lease on life while making a meaningful impact.
Let’s continue empowering Aunty Betty to share her positive influence through her crafts and inspire others.

Aqiyah is a multi-talented young woman who has been actively searching for a traditional job but has yet to secure one. She lives with ADHD, tics, and anger management challenges, and her mother, Masnisah, has noticed that crafting helps her feel calmer and more in control.
Together, this mother-daughter duo creates handmade plushies, hoping that crafting will not only keep Aqiyah meaningfully engaged but also provide a source of passive income.
Let’s empower Aqiyah through her creativity, resilience, and meaningful work – paving the way for a brighter future.
Elsie and friends are dedicated caregivers to their loved ones and passionate sewing enthusiasts. Together, they create handcrafted pieces—intricately sewn bags, cosy blankets, knitted shawls, beanies, and more—that reflect their skill and heart.
Let’s support Elsie and her friends as they continue giving back to the community through the sales of the items they make, making a difference to those in need.
